ANDRATEC GMBH is a manufacturer of medical devices using advanced interventional technologies. In early 2013, a group of committed professionals from different countries came together to create AndraTec.

With rich experience in the global medical device industry, Dipl. Eng. Gunter Kohl, Dijana Mahmic (BA International Relations) and CEO Andreas Kohl form the core team. In 2015, Dr med Dipl. Eng. Malte Neuss becomes a partner and brings his expertise in patent implementation to the company. Notable among his patents are the Exeter Snare and the Optimus Stent.

The company's primary focus lies on the development and wide availability of revolutionary minimally invasive devices, specifically designed for use in the interventional cardiovascular field.

AndraTec's rapid growth in global markets has enabled it to capture a substantial market share in a short period of time.

Taking on the role of CEO, Andreas launched AndraTec and brought with him a wealth of knowledge in the field of interventional cardiovascular practices, having previously worked at Cordis Johnson & Johnson and Abbott Vascular. Gunter, who has considerable experience in the technical and technical aspects of device development, joined our team after working at our previous company, where he played a central role in the design and patenting of numerous cutting-edge devices.

AndraTec recently welcomed Malte Neuss, a leading figure in the field of pediatric cardiology and engineering. With his expertise, he has become one of the prominent leaders in the medical device industry, particularly in the field of interventions. Neuss has made significant contributions to AndraTec, introducing proprietary products such as hybrid cell snares and stents, for which he holds several patents.

In order to comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for medical device products, the AndraTec quality system has obtained ISO 13485/9001 and EN 46001 certifications, and our products are either CE marked or in the process of obtaining of certification.
